Molecular Diagnostics
Molecular Diagnostics consists of Fluorescence in situ Hybridization (FISH) for the purpose of diagnosis of cancer translocations, gene amplifications, aneuploidy, and marker chromosome identification.
UROVYSION
We offer the FDA approved UroVysion assay. UroVysion in combination with cystoscopy offers unsurpassed detection of recurrent bladder cancer.
Prostate FISH
We offer FISH testing on Formalin Fixed Paraffin Embedded (FFPE) prostate tissue for both PTEN deletion and TMPSS2/ERG rearrangement. Detection of these genetic changes can provide prognostic value to patients with Adenocarcinoma of the Prostate (Gleason 6 and 7).
Molecular Diagnostics samples may be submitted for processing only (TC only) or for both processing and interpretation by our Board Certified Pathologists.
